In fact, while I have been working on getting your opinions, I have come up with a new problem that didn't happen in the days before WordPress made these changes.

the changes are driving me nuts! by the time i am learning one trick they are changing the game! oh boy!!!!!

Well this was sort of after those nutty aliens had had their way with me. It was not pleasant, even for a Canadian.
