is this your half testing a haiku?

  2. Oh dear Trent, are you okay?

  3. how sweet, is that one of your kiddies? and do you have to hold on to his string to keep him down to earth??? :) I had two like that… Hey, Do you follow “thereturnofthemodernphilosopher”, if not check him out, some days he cracks me up.

  4. Must be very high up in the sky – almost invisible. Yet definitely there!

  5. Wow. A very quick image in 4 syllables. And an interesting metaphor. Kites (I’m thinking of the ones on strings that children play with) flutter around, fly away and fall if you let go of the string, provide a great deal of entertainment, get easily caught and tangled, and are pretty much useless (sans their bright colors) without wind. I’m wondering if this is a heartwarming portrait of Jake? My initial gut reaction was ‘no” — it felt like a vaguely sad sentence as far as relationships go (an unstable one). But after all the comments, I may be wrong. Funny how just four words say so much. Lovely.

  6. i’m a kite too, maybe I know Jake, is he a blue kite with big eyes? or a fish
