This is a poem I wrote a while ago, “I See You”, that my friend Wildersoul put into music. I don’t hear from her much anymore, but I love her song, and it’s flattering to be put into music. I could not do this:

That’s awesome!!! Don’t forget me when your famous! 😉 You know Rappa Z?!
Well I just wrote the words, Anasera made it alive. She’s pretty awesome.
So are you. 🙂
Dude, I can’t sing!
but you can write
I think, for science, that you should try anyway.
How about a duet?
Could work — send me a few tracks 😀
I really really suck at singing.
Pffah. You also think you’re that awesome at writing, so I must respectfully disagree until there’s a demonstration of some sort.
No good can come of this.
I’m back…… 🙂
Hey welcome back! What have you been up to?
Well, I haven’t been singing or dancing lately, but I can feel my voice warming up. I’ve been writing a serious non-fiction book in my spare time. Travelling the country with my husband, and settling in a new home by the sea. Mobile home! Growing a garden… growing a child… 🙂 Thank you for all your encouragement, kind words, and the way you inspire and support creativity. It was a real pleasure to create a song from your poem. It is a real honour to find it with its own spot on your menu bar…. I am quite overcome, really.
I’m so happy that you’re back! It’s been a long time. It sounds like you have had many adventures and that the adventures continue, and for that I’m very glad. Yes, that song needed its own place. I’ll never forget when I first heard it. Somehow, you took some insensible lyrics and made it all beautiful, a trick I wish I had.
